However, few are aware that the man has saved millions of koala bears and can be called a hero in the true sense of the word, according to Sydney News & Life.

 

 

Ever since the fires grew in the area around Mallacoota, Boyle has been searching for injured wildlife.

 

"I instantly found a burnt koala that I immediately took back to the wildlife shelter. In fact, it was remarkable how quickly I found the koala, ”he told Stuff.co.nz.

 

 

"So far we have found eight or nine that have been saved. We found over 10 who were dead and about five who are still alive and healthy for the time being, ”said Patrick Boyle.

 

In November last year, a woman rescued a koala bear from the midst of devastating flames.

 

When the eucalyptus forest was engulfed in flames, the small mammal was in a tree. Fire, smoke and strong wind were the trap in which he had been trapped and would have killed him in a few moments.

 

 

Thanks to a brave woman, the teddy bear had the chance to live. At that time, she received an evacuation order from the authorities, but did not endure the passing of the suffering animal, which was heading in the direction of the area affected by the flames.

 

The koala bear is now in a veterinary clinic and is likely to escape alive, although he suffered serious burns.
