BTS members are nominated for Grammy Awards this year.

The idols sang at the charity concert organized online Music On A Mission. Music On A Mission is a special week-long Caribbean online event. Officially the organizer is the MusiCares Foundation (the philanthropic part of the American Academy of Music, which annually organizes the Grammy Awards). This year, in addition to BTS members, other musicians such as John Legend, H.E.R., HAIM and Jhené Aiko were also invited to perform at the charity event.

As previously announced, the band BTS took to the virtual stage of the Music On A Mission Foundation, where they performed the hit "Dynamite", which brought members the first nomination this year at the Grammys, in the section Best Pop Duo / Group Performance.

Viewers were impressed by the performance of member Jungkook, who played drums during the evolution — making the phrase "DRUMMER JUNGKOOK" a global trend on Twitter shortly after the BTS took the stage.

This week, the organizers of the Grammy Awards announced that BTS members will sing at the Grammy Awards in 2021, performing for the first time alone on stage with their own song. The award ceremony will take place live on March 14.
