arnold-schwarzenegger-advices-fans-to-stay-home-while-the-novel-coronavirus-pandemic-intensifies

The battle against the novel coronavirus pandemic intensifies, celebrities are using their social networks to urge people to help stop the spread of the virus by practicing social distancing.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, who in a posted video is feeding his pet donkey and miniature pony in the kitchen, is consequently asking his fans to consider the safety of everyone around.

In the clip Schwarzenegger is spending quality time with Whiskey the pony and Lulu the donkey while staying at home, the celebrity is arguing that limiting time spent in public isn't all that bad.

"See, the important thing is that you stay at home, because there's a curfew now. No one is allowed out. Especially someone who is, like, 72 years old (referring to himself). After you are 65, you are not allowed out of the house anymore in California. So we stay home and we eat here," Schwarzenegger mentions.

The star is telling his furry friends: "We don't go out, we don't go to restaurants, we don't do anything like that anymore here."

Schwarzenegger told his 4.4 million Twitter followers that they are the one who can protect older people with weaker immune systems and not only, but everyone around so people will not contact the deadly virus.

"Stay at home as much as possible. Listen to the experts, ignore the morons (foreheads). We will get through this together," Schwarzenegger highlighted in his tweet.

the-coronavirus-pandemic-hits-the-worlds-largest-companies-facebook-employees-will-work-from-home-for-a-long-period

Good news for Facebook employees!  The founder of the famous social network made an unusual announcement on Thursday, May 21.  He said he would allow a considerable number of Facebook's 50,000 employees, as well as new recruits, to work from home all the time!

Mark Zuckerberg said on Thursday, May 21, that in the next five to 10 years, about 50% of Facebook's workforce will work remotely.  The founder of the social network added that this will involve, among other things, a radical change in the way the famous Silicon Valley-based company operates.

Mark Zuckerberg explained that the process is a long one and that it will take place in a series of steps that must be followed exactly in order to be successful.  The first step is "an aggressive opening of distance recruitment," first in the United States, then abroad, beyond urban centers where Facebook has offices.  "I don't think it's good to limit employment to people living around offices," said the Facebook CEO.

The Facebook founder is not the first to think of such a radical measure!  Also on Thursday, the head of Twitter announced that his employees could work from home indefinitely.  The Canadian e-commerce company Shopify announced a similar measure later that day, as the coronavirus pandemic paved the way for unexpected changes in the organization and operation of large companies around the world.

compilation-of-best-screenshots-during-video-conference-calls

The coronavirus pandemic is creating big troubles for people. Work and studies from home are the new conditions for everyone all across the globe. To prevent the virus from spreading at the workplace, schools and universities, more and more companies are turning to remote work as a necessary step to continue realizing their agenda. This unpredicted new reality is for an unknown time limits, but it made the bosses meet their employees online.

One of the leaders decisions, is to encourage people to work from home during quarantine. Working from home for someone is paradise, but for others can be horrible. Families with children found here a big problem, no video conference without them. There are also some people who have problems with modern technology, so they transform themselves in a potato, using some filters and are unable to figure out how to turn the filter off.

The global work-from-home movement intended to maintain efficiency during the COVID-19 pandemic, so people can maintain economic stability in their family budget. The closure of schools and transition to “distance learning” for children, created the condition of studying at home, so students now are the one who also have daily online conferences.

For many persons, setting up a home office is a full creation, while in self-isolation people get creative. Some parents share their desk space with kids or are having furry little friends participate in conference calls. No matter in which situation you are, you have to work or study at home. Online conferences are the best option, while learning and working process is maintained.

how-to-make-a-protective-mask-if-you-dont-know-how-to-sew-its-ready-in-minutes

You can’t find a protective mask in pharmacies or it’s price is hitting you?  If you want to protect yourself, a mask to cover the mouth and nose can be made at home.  However, a textile mask is not as effective as a surgical one, but it is very useful during this period.  If you do not know how to sew, with a scissors, a piece of material and two hair bands you can make a protective mask.

The American Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) has reverted to previous recommendations made in the context of the pandemic and currently believes that wearing simple masks in textiles could slow the spread of coronavirus.

Instructions for making your home a protective mask

The material used should be cut in such a way that it is wide and long enough to cover your nose and mouth

The material should be bent at length.

At each end tie a hair elastic.

 Bring the ends tied inwards.

Arrange the mask near the mouth and nose and fasten the elastics behind the ears.

It is important to know:

•Simple surgical masks have a much higher protection than textiles.

• Even if we wear a mask, we must keep at least 3 steps away from the others.

•We disinfect / wash our hands before and after putting on our masks and do not touch them when wearing them.

•After each use, the textile masks must be washed: a washing machine is sufficient.

•Such textile masks are especially useful in places where physical distance is difficult to maintain: queues, small shops or pharmacies, crowded means of transport, etc.

• This recommendation can be used as an additional public health measure.

• The CDC emphasizes that textile masks should not be worn by children under 2 years of age or by persons with respiratory problems.

• The materials from which the textile masks are made do not sufficiently protect the hospital environment.

•The World Health Organization strongly recommends wearing surgical masks or special protective masks in the hospital environment.
