The best horror movies to watch this weekend

the-best-horror-movies-to-watch-this-weekend

Horror movies do not lose their popularity.  Everyone wants to test themselves and understand what chilling invention it will not be embarrassing to scream from fear. During this times, Bemorepanda were offered a rich palette of horror movies, and we, in order from worst to best, have chosen the best ones.

Piercing

The story of a novice sadist and a mysterious prostitute is based on the novel by Ryu Murakami, but it will be interesting to watch for those who read the book and those who did not.

Lizzie

The modest and pious old maid took an ax and hacked her father and mother.  The whole point is that no one could prove Borden's guilt, the crime was conceived to glory, and after that the girl calmly lived a long life free.  The true killer of her parents was never found.  The creepy and very detailed “Revenge of Lizzy Borden” slowly leads us to a bloody denouement, making the circumstances of Lizzy’s life increasingly unbearable.  And in order to completely torment the viewer, a perverse love line connected with the heroine Kristen Stewart was added to the movie.

Crawl

Claustrophobic horror story about the flood and cannibal crocodiles in the basement of an apartment building by director Alexander Azh, the author of such thrillers as “Piranha 3D”.  Nothing new is to be expected here, all within the framework of the genre, but due to special effects and the main character in the person of Kaya Scodelario, the movie at some point becomes very exciting.  Although it’s clear that the “Trap” is the ten-great-granddaughter of the legendary “Jaws”.

Little Joe

According to the scientist, the aroma of this plant was to make people happy.  But something went wrong.  Deprived of the ability to reproduce, a smart flower came up with an unusually effective way to fight for existence.  Namely: learned to hypnotize and subjugate people.  Those who get pollen in their nose become capable of anything to protect their beloved ones.Filmed all this succinctly, but painfully anxious.

Annabelle comes home

As for Annabelle, the sinister and demonic doll continues to do all kinds of atrocities, this time with the wrong hands. She returned and is ready to scare you.

Ready or not

Out of fear of meeting their parents, the creators of this tape pulled a hilarious, but extremely bloody plot.  For one “happy” bride, her fiancé’s relatives are chasing after a Victorian mansion to kill her with something big and sharp.

It: Chapter II

“It 2” came out no less successful than the first film - in some countries , in general, its fees were higher.  It became a hit, although it was not based on Stephen King’s novel, and numerous reviews of the movie signaled that it’s not scary!  But what can I say, if even some iconic figures of author's cinema have pecked at the bait of clown Pennywise?

Pet Sematary

Once, Stephen King himself did not dare to publish this novel, considering it too scary.  But in the end, both the book and its first movie adaptation became classics.  The new version of the misadventures of an individual family in the house near the highway is slightly distracted from the original plot in order to throw a little more surprises to the viewer.  But at the heart of everything is the same - the fear of losing a loved one and the desperate hope of returning him at all costs, if something terrible still happened.

Doctor Sleep

It’s not very clear whether it really was necessary to write a continuation of the magnificent “Radiance,” but King’s novel was doomed to become a bestseller in advance.  It would be wrong to not shoot a continuation movie on it, denying yourself the pleasure of placing numerous references to Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece there.  As a result, we got Ewan McGregor, a mysterious sect, a blood-filled hotel and a girl who must be saved.

Midsommar

Everything is accurate and beautiful, before the filming, the director was not too lazy to study the ancient rites and rituals of the Vikings.  And, probably, after this movie it is worth recognizing that Aster is a new figure in the horror genre.  In the "Solstice" one can feel the maturity, depth and - snobbery of an overseas superpower in front of the dense Old World.
