People in Spain are sunbathing with face mask after the coronavirus restrictions have been relaxed

The cats have lived in the area of the village of Sous Palloso for over 100 years, since the fishermen brought these animals here for rodent control.

This is a tiny village in Sardinia called Su Pallosu. Only eight people and 54 cats live there. Cats took up residence here almost 90 years ago, in the 1920s. They were brought by the fishermen from the nearby tuna fishery to keep mice away. Today Su Pallosu cat colony is one of the oldest in Italy.

On the Spanish island of Mallorca, many locals make a living from tourism.  Especially the one practiced by the Germans.  But the pandemic kept the beaches deserted for months, and tourism collapsed.  The hope is that the summer season will make up for the losses.  A Deutsche Welle team was at the island's airport when the first tourist plane arrived.

Mallorca waited three months for this plane.  It brings the first tourists since the isolation due to the coronavirus and is part of a pilot project during a pandemic.  In the new Arrivals terminal of the airport there are health questionnaires and infrared rooms that measure your temperature.

US President Donald Trump wore the public mask of COVID-19 for the first time since the outbreak of the pandemic on Saturday, the BBC reports.

 "I've never been against wearing a mask, but I really think there's a place and a time for that," Trump said before the visit.

 Earlier, he said he would not wear a mask, mocking his Democratic rival Joe Biden, who was wearing it.

 On Saturday, however, Donald Trump said: "I think when you're in a hospital, especially in this situation, where you're talking to a lot of soldiers and people who in some cases have just left the operating table, I think it's a great thing to wear a mask ”.

 "I am totally in favor of wearing a mask," the US president told Fox News a week ago.

 However, when the American Centers for Disease Control began in April to recommend that people wear masks in public in order to stop the spread of the virus, Trump told reporters he would not follow that recommendation, the BBC notes.

Now they are advised to wear not only sick.

WHO Director-General Tedros Hebreyusus, during a new COVID-19 briefing, announced new recommendations for the prevention of coronavirus.  Here are the main points:

•  Doctors and other medical staff should always wear masks, regardless of whether they work with infected coronavirus infections or not.
•  People over 60 years of age, as well as those who have chronic diseases, are advised to wear masks wherever it is impossible to maintain physical distance.
•  The governments of the countries should encourage the wearing of masks in any places where it is impossible to maintain physical distance, especially for public transport and shops.



•  Those with symptoms similar to coronavirus infection should stay at home.  All who contacted him should be quarantined.
•  If a sick person or someone who has contacted him needs to leave the house, he must wear a mask.
•  WHO considers masks to be of high quality, which consist of three layers of different materials or more.

 Previously, the WHO spoke only about the need to wear masks for the sick, because there was insufficient data (apart from clinical studies, which many experts consider to be of little relevance to real life).
