Ford claims to have invented an ingenious automated disinfection system for the passenger compartment, which will soon be available for US police cars.  The system does not require any technical changes, but will be available after a wireless software update is released for the multimedia system.

 The technology is extremely current in times of pandemic and not only for law enforcement but also, for example, for cars in the fleets of car rental companies.  According to the Americans, the system is able to automatically remove up to 99% of bacteria and viruses from within in minutes.  The function can be activated by accessing some special commands on board, after which the driver and all passengers will have to leave the passenger compartment.

Afterwards, the car will emit some audible warnings inside, to remind those on board to leave the car, and soon the passenger compartment will be heated, including all surfaces, to a temperature of 56 degrees Celsius.  This procedure, according to US company officials, removes most of the bacteria and viruses on board.  Finally, until access to the board is allowed, the system will start the air conditioning system to cool the passenger compartment.

The system will be available through a software update offered wirelessly to Ford police cars in the US, produced from 2013 until now.  For the newest the system will be offered as standard.  The Americans say the function is extremely useful for inspectors, since a car can be used by several employees, and criminals who can theoretically be infected are also transported inside.

90-of-people-infected-with-coronavirus-who-require-hospitalization-also-suffer-from-other-diseases

In recent weeks, more and more studies have appeared on the new coronavirus.  From those related to common symptoms to those who revealed that men are more affected by COVID-19 than women.

 The Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the US this week published the results of another research that looked at who are at high risk for contracting the new virus and being hospitalized.

 According to this study, most people who needed hospitalization also suffered from other diseases.  About 90% of them had one or more diseases, except for COVID-19. Among the most common are hypertension (49.7%), obesity (48.3%), lung disease (34.6%), diabetes (28.3%) and cardiovascular disease (27.8%).

 The study, conducted March 1-30, was conducted on 1482 people infected with coronavirus from 14 states in the United States: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York  , Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee and Utah.

The researchers also found that the diseases of those infected with coronavirus are similar to those of people affected by the influenza virus (which causes the flu).  However, the number of people infected with coronavirus requiring hospitalization is higher than those with the flu.

 Also, another CDC study showed that about 78% of patients admitted to the ATI section and 71% of those hospitalized suffered from one or more diseases.  And 27% of those who did not require hospitalization suffered from at least one other condition.

 Although the study is an incipient one and was conducted on a relatively small number of people, the researchers emphasize that the findings made sound an alarm about the importance of prevention.  "Social distance, frequent hand washing, wearing protective masks are essential to protect the elderly and those suffering from other diseases," says the agency.

how-to-prepare-your-own-chlorine-disinfectant-recipe-at-home

Chlorine based disinfectant is one of the most powerful solutions that eliminates coronavirus from surfaces.  The recipe is very simple and you can try it right at home. Here's what you have to do!

If you want to prepare your own disinfectant with which to sanitize your home, you will need to be very careful about how you use chlorine.  Because it is a caustic substance, it should not be mixed with other solutions, but diluted only with water, in appropriate proportions. Here is the exact network and what you need to do!

 How to prepare your own chlorine disinfectant.  Recipe for home

 The American Center for Disease Control recommends disinfecting surfaces in our home - tiles, wall tiles, linoleum, door handles, etc. - using a chlorine solution with a concentration of 1:50, ie 20 ml of chlorine per liter of water.  This disinfectant, properly prepared, sanitizes surfaces and objects that we come into contact with daily, but does not affect our health. If you think this amount of chlorine is small, find out that it is actually more than enough for the complete elimination of coronavirus.

 The tools you need:

 You will need a spray container where you can keep the solution;

 A graduated container to make the necessary measurements;

 Household rubber gloves;

 A nose and mouth protection mask.  This way you will avoid inhaling chlorine vapors.  If you do not have a mask, you can use a scarf, a handkerchief, a handkerchief, any textile material that will prevent you from inhaling the vapors;

 Water;

Chlorine;

Recipe for daily use

 First of all, you must know that the disinfectant is prepared outdoors, or, if you do not live at ground house and do not have a yard, go to the balcony.  If you do not have a balcony, prepare the solution in a very well ventilated room, with the windows wide open. Chlorine releases extremely toxic vapors. To make a solution with a concentration of 1:50 you need 20 ml of chlorine in 1 liter of water.  Pour water into a basin, add chlorine, mix and use the solution for washing on the floor or for disinfecting other objects. The disinfectant can be used daily, and if it is more concentrated, it should be used once a few days.

 The chlorine-based disinfectant is prepared according to a very simple recipe, but we must pay close attention to the quantities of chlorine and water we use.  It is the most important aspect. If not, chlorine could seriously affect our health.
