top-50-things-to-take-to-the-beach

Summer is when you can lazily sunbathe, exposing your face to the sun's rays. It's time to swim, but you must pack your beach bag and get ready. A beach holiday is always wonderful, regardless of whether you are relaxing on the banks of your native country or near the Indian Ocean. Here is what you need to take to make your vacation more exciting and comfortable.

Things useful at the beach

Sunscreen is the most important thing. This is an absolute must-have for a beach holiday. For those who do not want to get the color of freshly cooked cancer and lie down until the end of the vacation/vacation with a temperature below 40. In addition, such creams protect the skin from the adverse effects of ultraviolet radiation, which provokes premature aging and the occurrence of cancer cells. The lighter the skin, the higher the protection index should be.

1. Tanning oil (not to be confused with point 0)

It will help you quickly get the desired chocolate shade. But remember that it can only be used when you are already well tanned.

2. Sunglasses

As the name implies, they will protect your eyes from harmful ultraviolet radiation (the main thing is that the lenses are polarized!) And help you feel like Agent Kay.

3. Selfie stick

No comments, just like.

4. Bottle of water

When relaxing on the beach, drinking plenty of water is necessary to protect the body from dehydration. And for taste, you can add a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint. So you get a great soft drink.

5. Cooler bag

Such a gadget will bring the level of your beach holiday closer from “like everyone else” to “#jaboheme.” It's so lovely after the next swim to drink item number 5.

6. Headphones

Not vehemently impose your musical preferences on your neighbors (unfortunately, not everyone is ready to listen to Chopin's Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor), but at the same time, not deny yourself listening to your favorite compositions.

7. Baby powder

A real-life hack. With it, you can quickly and easily clean your hands and feet from the sand. And how does it just work?

8. Large towel

In which it is so cozy to wrap up after swimming.

9. Second oversized towel/mat/bedding

To have something to lie on, basking in the sun.

10. Book

It will help pass the time, especially if you are alone. Read what the hands did not reach during the working days. Take yourself back to Fitzgerald and Turgenev. Or you will uncover another universal conspiracy.

11. Magazine/newspaper

For those who want to stay in the news flow, trend analytics and follow fashion trends. And they are also convenient for covering your face while you sunbathe, lying on your back.

12. Ball, sports equipment

No matter how good it is to wallow all day on the beach and splash in the water, it would help if you also warmed up a little—Volleyball, frisbee, badminton. You can buy an inflatable ball and play, for example, water dodgeball. But basketball fans will have to be patient ...

13. Board games

Another way to update your beach holiday. An excellent pastime both in the city and in any other place. It doesn't matter what you prefer, Munchkin, Dixit, Elias, or good old cards and chess. Positive emotions are provided to you.

14. Friends

Who else to laugh with? And who will turn you over in time (if you fell asleep) to ensure an even tan, if not a friend? To be with someone, use paragraph 13.14. And smear point 1? And everything else will be able to guard your belongings while diving into the water.

15. Diving mask, fins

The underwater world is unique and distinctive. Watch him from the side. See how a small crustacean burrows into the sand or hides under a pebble, and watch the fish scurrying. Maybe you will find Atlantis?

16. Case for underwater filming or action camera

It is not necessary to be a professional photographer to share the beauty of the underwater world with others. Capture your memories for years or hit the likes on social media!

17. Earplugs

Protect your ears from water ingress and various kinds of infection. Just do not swim very far. Otherwise, you risk swimming behind the buoys and not hearing the displeased cry of the lifeguard.

18. Nose clip

It will help you not to swallow water while you dive with rapture.

19. Balloon

If you still decide that earplugs are for wimps, then an ordinary balloon will help you get rid of water in your ears. It is enough to take a few breaths into the ball with your mouth while holding your nose with your free hand.

20. Insect spray

If you are relaxing on a stone or pebble beach, there is a high probability of injury. Yes, and in the grass and the sand, you can not notice, for example, a piece of glass left by negligent vacationers. To quickly treat the wound, it is enough to take peroxide, iodine, and a bandage with you. Do not forget that if you use any particular medicines, for example, for allergies, they should always be at hand.

22. Lip balm with SPF protection

Everyone knows that sunscreen should be applied to the body (we hope we have already convinced you of this). But most of us forget about lips. And oddly enough, the risk of cancer cells in this area is very high. Therefore, I do not think it can only be helpful for girls.

23. Air mattress

Enjoy that wonderful feeling when you lie on a mattress, rocked by the sea waves ... or carried away by the river current. Plus, it's an excellent alternative to a sunbed.

24. Inflatable pillow

Taking a sun lounger to read a book or take a nap comfortably is unnecessary. You can take a unique inflatable pillow with you.

25. Spray bottle

It will help refresh your face and body if you suddenly feel too lazy to get up to go for a swim.

26. Goggles for swimming

If you are into water sports, you have probably seen that all professional swimmers wear special goggles. In such a simple way, you will protect yourself from infection or salt (if you swim in seawater).

27. Portable charger

A handy item for any traveler. Staying connected in today's world is essential. If your smartphone has sat down at the most inopportune moment, the charger is a real lifesaver. And especially avid gadget lovers can find solar-powered modifications!

28. Zip-lock plastic packaging

Zip-lock plastic packaging allows you to repeatedly open and closes the bag, which is ideal for storing items afraid of moisture. For example, phone, money, or documents.

29. Fruits

Excellent and very healthy snack. They will help to freshen up and satisfy your hunger a little. Well, the fact that fruits are solid vitamins has been known to everyone since childhood.

30. Carrot

Let's single out a separate item since this root crop contributes to the production of keratin - a substance necessary for a long and even tan. Just do not overdo it. Otherwise, you will become more like a giant carrot instead of acquiring the desired bronze hue.

31. Garbage bag

A cultured person is cultured in everything. So he takes care that after him, the resting place remains clean.

32. Rice

If you still haven’t time to take a gripper bag with you and your favorite smartphone fell into the water, put it in a pack of rice because this cereal perfectly absorbs moisture. Well, pilaf can be cooked.

33. Umbrella or awning

If you are relaxing on a wild beach or do not want to pay for a sun lounger, an umbrella is a great way to create shade and not get burned in the hot sun.

34. Clock

In the era of smartphones, the famous question “but don’t tell me what time it is” ceases to be relevant. But, if you decide to relax on the beach without any means of communication in peace, or your mobile phone suddenly sits down, and you forget your portable charging device, the watch is irreplaceable.

35. Fan

Creates a pleasant breeze in hot weather.

36. Headdress

A hat or cap will protect against sun and heat stroke and is a stylish accessory. Choose hats made from natural materials such as cotton, rayon, or straw.

37. Swimsuit

Make sure once again whether you took it with you so as not to sigh enviously, sitting on the shore and watching other people's water procedures.

38. Slippers

The most comfortable shoes for the beach.

39. Coral slippers/water shoes

Useful not only for vacationers on the shores of the Red Sea. Aquashoes are special slippers where you can swim and even walk on corals and rocks. And you won't have to worry that the wave will carry away your beach shoes.

40. Antibacterial wet wipes

Remember fruits? That's when they will come in handy for you. And in general, this is a vital thing in terms of hygiene.

41. Inflatable ring/arm sleeves/swimming board

If you are a useless swimmer, this is no reason to deny yourself the pleasure of splashing in the water.

42. Comb

Detangles your curls. This is especially true for those with long hair.

43. Binoculars

For the most curious. Maybe you can see the shore opposite or watch a flock of seagulls.

44. Money

Without them, nowhere. You can buy Churchkhella! Praise! Khachapuri with cheese!”

45. Salt for hot corn

Applicable if the seller is greedy.

46. Sketchbook

Even if you did not assume that you have the makings of an artist, do not be too lazy to take a small album with you. Nature is so beautiful and unique! Maybe the muse will come from a side you didn't expect. You don't have to show your masterpiece to anyone as a last resort.

47. Crosswords/Sudoko/Puzzles

Another way to pass the time and train your brain.

Can't wait for my summer vacation
tips-for-getting-the-best-sun-tan-safely

Everyone's favorite and the long-awaited holiday season have begun, the sea, sandy beaches, delicious fruits, and sunbathing. Everyone wants to relax in the sun, whether on a white sandy beach on the shores of the azure sea or a green lawn in the country. But does everyone know how to sunbathe correctly so as not to peel off the next day after spending a sleepless night in a moisturizer? Whatever you decide to get your tan, read on for our tips

Tips for the best tan

Even though the sun has a beneficial effect on us (it increases the level of serotonin, stimulates the production of vitamin D, and strengthens the immune system), it still has its drawbacks: the risk of getting burned, aging prematurely or getting skin cancer. But all the disadvantages can be reduced to zero by following the simple rules for sunbathing.

Rule 1: Don't Forget Your Sunscreen

It would seem that everyone knows about it. However, how do you choose one that will protect your skin? Different creams provide different levels of protection, which is indicated by the SPF index.

The level of SPF (sun protection factor) determines the effectiveness of counteracting UV radiation on the skin treated with the cream. For example, if your cream has an SPF-20 index, you can get a UV dose without harm to health 20 times more than without using a protective agent. SPF only protects the skin from group B UV rays, which are dangerous for our health.

On sunscreen packages, SPF ranges from 2 to 50. It's essential to determine your skin type. Scientists identify six phototypes, read the descriptions and look for matches:

Phototype 1: people with blond hair, fair skin, and light eyes. Representatives of this type most often burn the sun. It is recommended to stay in the sun for no more than 15 minutes without protection. Creams with SPF-30 and above are suitable.

Phototype 2: people with blond or red hair, gray eyes, and fair skin, often with freckles. Recommended time in the sun: 20 - 30 minutes; creams with SPF-20, and then a minimum of SPF-10.

Phototype 3: people with dark hair, brown eyes, and swarthy skin. Recommended time in the sun: up to 40 minutes without additional protection. To prevent burns while tanning, you need to use creams with SPF-15 only after arriving on vacation and SPF-6 after three to four days.

Phototype 4: brunettes with dark eyes and swarthy skin. Such people often do not suffer from sunlight, but for prevention, it is better to use a cream with SPF-8.

5 and 6 phototypes: people with very dark (up to black) skin. They can spend much time in the sun without protection and only use moisturizers.

Have you identified your phototype? Excellent! However, it is essential to know the rules for applying sunscreen:

1. Apply 20 minutes before sunbathing.

2. Do not forget to reapply the cream according to the instructions.

Rule 2: tan gradually

If everything were simple, spend a few hours in the sun and immediately get the desired tan for the whole year! But don't even dream about it. As practice shows, adherents of this method most often suffer from the negative consequences of sunburn.

The dark pigment that gives our skin its brown color is called melanin. But besides providing shade to the skin, it has another vital function - a protective mechanism that protects the skin from UV rays! Melanin creates a protective barrier around skin cells that scatters dangerous UVB rays. That is why it is essential to accumulate melanin gradually: sunbathe on the first day for 10-15 minutes before lunch and 15-20 after. For a positive effect, add every day for 10 minutes, preventing the skin from reddening in the sun.

Rule 3: Prepare your skin for tanning

Before sunbathing, cleaning the skin of impurities and dead cells is essential. So it will be easier for her to accumulate melanin. You can do this with soft scrubs, a washcloth, or an exfoliating glove. But don't be zealous. It is enough to cleanse the skin in this way once a week and a half.

Rule 4: Don't be in the sun in the middle of the day

The more direct sunlight hits the skin, the more UV it receives. The maximum radiation falls on the time from 10:00 to 16:00. If the health of the skin and the body is dear to you, it is better not to show yourself in the sun at this time. Go outside at this time in light clothes with long sleeves.

It is safest to sunbathe before 10 am and in the evening after 4 pm.

Rule 5: protect the body from the inside

Don't worry; you don't need to eat sunscreen for this. To do this, some products help reduce the adverse effects of UV rays due to the high content of antioxidants. So what are these products:

  • fatty fish rich in omega-3: mackerel, tuna, salmon.
  • red and orange vegetables and fruits: tomatoes, peppers, oranges, apricots
  • any cabbage: broccoli, leafy, cauliflower
  • teas: green and black

In addition, there are products that, on the contrary, can increase the negative effect of the sun on the skin, for example, yogurt, cheese, or whole milk.

Rule 6: know the measure.

It makes no sense to sunbathe all day since the body stops producing melanin after 2-3 hours of exposure to the sun. So 4-5 hours in the sun will not give you a chocolate or bronze tan but will only increase the risk of skin damage.

Rule 7: take care of your skin after sunburn.

If you want to keep your tan for longer, do not forget to moisturize your skin after sunbathing. This is important because the body treats excess melanin as a wake-up call that signals damage to the skin. That is why he seeks to quickly get rid of the top tanned layer, making it drier. So it was easier for the body to eliminate damaged cells and exfoliate them.

Use moisturizing creams and lotions and wait with scrubs and rough washcloths.

Well, here are, perhaps, the basic rules that will provide you with the perfect tan!

First aid and treatment for sunburnt skin

From the first warm spring days to the beginning of autumn frosts, dressing as lightly as possible is pleasant to show a beautiful figure. Many spend weekends and vacations on the beach, taking their children with them, believing that sunbathing is suitable for their health. It has been established that exposure to the sun strengthens the immune system, promotes the production of vitamin D, and improves the condition of bone tissues. A soft golden or dark chocolate tan is associated with travel and adventure, holidays on the sea coast, and tropical islands.

But intense exposure to ultraviolet rays is not suitable for health. Sunburn is a protective reaction of the skin, leading to a change in its color. The coloring pigment melanin is produced in its lower layers to protect against ultraviolet radiation. With prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, skin photoagingaccelerates, wrinkles form faster, and the risk of developing neoplasms increases. Another danger of sun exposure is burnt skin. Pain for negligence will be a pain, peeling, or a general deterioration in well-being.

What to do if the skin is sunburned

You can get burned on the beach, walking around the city, working on an individual plot, etc. The sun gradually heats the skin and the head,d a person does not feel discomfort for a long time but notices redness, burning, and tightness when the skin is severely burned. Minor burns can be treated at home, but if blisters develop, see a doctor.

You must go into the room or the shade at the first sign of burning or overheating. If this is not possible, cover open areas of the body with clothes, a towel, or a thick cloth. Replenish the lack of fluid in the body. Drink clean, cool water or warm but not hot tea. To reduce discomfort, if there are no blisters, or open wounds, apply an after-sun cream or other emollient, such as Panthenol, to the skin. If the damage is minor, restoring the skin after a sunburn will take 3-5 days.

Signs of sunburned skin

To prevent deep burns, you must periodically check for burning signs in the sun. The first symptom is redness of the skin. Pain and another discomfort may not be felt. They show up later.

It is necessary to determine the degree of damage to the skin. If there is redness or mild pain but no blisters, you need to provide first aid, and the redness will pass after a few days. Perhaps the skin will begin to peel off. This is not dangerous but increases the risk of a second, more severe burn when exposed to the sun.

If blisters appear, you need to consult a doctor and treat them with anti-burn ointments, drugs that relieve inflammation and prevent infection. Treatment takes place under the supervision of a physician. Patients often have a fever, swelling, headaches, weakness, and palpitations.

First aid

If there are burns from sunburn, you need to get dressed and go into the shade or the room. A cool (but not cold) shower or a compress on the affected body parts will help relieve unpleasant symptoms. Cool and cleanse your skin. To quickly restore the damaged epidermis and prevent the appearance of blisters, and peeling, apply an anti-burn ointment with panthenol on it.

If blisters appear, cool the skin, wash with clean water without soap, apply an ointment, and then visit a doctor. He will prescribe a treatment to avoid infection of the wounds that appear after the blisters burst.

If a significant body surface is burned, a person has a fever, dizziness, palpitations, nausea, or vomiting; you need to give an antipyretic, anti-inflammatory drug (Nurofen or others) and quickly deliver it to a medical facility or call an ambulance. Sunburn can cause disturbances in the functioning of the cardiovascular system.

Folk remedies

First aid for burns caused by ultraviolet radiation should be provided as soon as possible. But not always in the home first-aid kit; there are the necessary medicines. They can be replaced with folk remedies. To improve the general condition without antipyretics, you can drink cool black or green tea with lemon and mineral water if the temperature has risen slightly. You can apply a cool compress to your forehead.

To cool and soothe burned skin, you can make a gauze compress from excellent green tea, a decoction of parsley, chamomile, calendula, and oak bark. If the face turns red after going to the beach or walking on a sunny day, you can apply fresh cabbage leaves and chopped parsley to the burnt places and grease them with honey. They will help with minor burns and prevent peeling, and you will look good the next day. To reduce the risk of infection of burned areas and moisturize them, you can rub the skin with aloe leaves.

What not to do with sunburn

Complications after sunburn often arise due to improper treatment. So that they pass without consequences:

  • do not apply ice to burned areas, do not take a cold shower - a sharp temperature drop will accelerate the development of the inflammatory process;
  • do not puncture blisters with a needle or other sharp objects - this increases the risk of infection;
  • do not wipe the skin with alcohol-containing solutions - it needs to be moisturized, and alcohol dries it, which will increase peeling;
  • do not lubricate burned areas with olive, sunflower, or other vegetable oils - they form a greasy film, which prevents regular air exchange and natural cooling;
  • if there are blisters, there are wounds, or acne - do not apply fermented milk products;
  • do not use hard washcloths or peels to speed up exfoliation; you can injure the skin.

At this time, you need to soften it, moisturize, and protect it from ultraviolet radiation with sunscreen or tight clothes, do not use scrubs, or hard washcloths, do not go to the sauna, and do not take hot baths.

How to choose a cosmetic product that protects against ultraviolet radiation

Sun cream can have different levels of protection. SPF denotes it with various coefficients. For a walk around the city on a clear spring day, a cream with SPF 2-5 is enough. If you are going to be on the street for several hours (picnic, work in the garden), you need a remedy with SPF 5-10. For those with white skin prone to freckling, it is best to use sunscreen products that provide intense protection (SPF 20-30). If you vacation to a hotter region, take an SPF 50 cream with you, such as Avene cream. If you want to swim, use a waterproof product. Sunscreen should be applied 20 minutes before leaving the house.

Choose products containing vitamins and antioxidants to look good on hot days and prevent the appearance of early wrinkles. They protect not only from ultraviolet rays but also take care of the skin.

How to choose creams after sunburn

To make the skin recover quickly after sunbathing, and look beautiful and fresh, use an after-sun cream or milk. It contains hydrants that replenish water in cells and soothing and softening ingredients that prevent flaking. To quickly pass minor burns, you can use not medicinal but cosmetics. It is convenient to use cosmetics that are available in the form of sprays, for example, Avene. By pressing the sprayer several times, you will evenly apply the product.

Sprays or creams are available that need to be rubbed with light massage movements for the face and body. It is better to purchase two products of the same brand: one for the front, where the skin is more delicate and demanding to care for, and the other for the body. Use them every time you go out in the sun to rehydrate and prevent photoaging.

After-sun cosmetics are available for different skin types. For oily, a lighter texture is needed; for dry, high hyaluronic acid content; for sensitive, aloe extract and other medicinal plants.

Prevention of sunburn

For the tan to look beautiful and there to be no burns, you need to dose your exposure to the sun. The best sunbathing is before 10-11 am and after 4-5 pm. Try not to go out in the sun between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wear wide-brimmed hats, peaked caps, or other head coverings to protect your face and body from direct sunlight. Do not forget about eye protection - sunglasses will help maintain vision and slow down the formation of wrinkles in the corners of the eyes.

On hot days, dress in loose, light-colored clothing made from natural fabrics. It reflects ultraviolet rays well and does not interfere with air exchange. If you have delicate, fair skin prone to sunburn, cover your shoulders and back, choose dresses, shirts, and long-sleeved T-shirts.

Drink more clean water and tea, but give up sugary carbonated drinks and coffee. They have a diuretic effect and accelerate the loss of moisture. And it is needed by the body to release sweat and naturally cool the skin.

Apply sunscreen regularly to exposed areas of your body, even if you have to walk down the street for a short time on a sunny day. At the beach, renew it every 2 hours and after swimming.

50-things-to-do-this-summer

We've put together a list of the best things to do this summer- indoors and outdoors, alone and with friends. Hurry to cross out all the points!

Things to do this summer

Summer is a particular time. Everyone tries to live a bright and eventful life. The days are getting longer; many people have a well-deserved vacation, and more free time needs to be taken in some unique way. You can make your list of hundreds of summer things, but we suggest starting with these:

1. Go on a spontaneous journey

All adventures begin with a spontaneous decision. A tour around the country, a weekend on the Cote d'Azur, or an unexpected visit to your beloved grandmother in the village - no matter what it will be, the main thing is to do everything quickly and without delay.

2. Walk all night long

What would summer be without long walks under the stars? The light of lanterns, deserted streets, and rare cars - feel the romance of a big city.

3. Kissing in the rain

Naturally, no romantic movie is complete without a kiss in the rain. If a downpour takes you by surprise, do not be discouraged, but seize the moment.

4. Try a new dish

Summer is always a new experience. Be sure to try the local cuisine if you're on a trip, or stop by a restaurant near your home and order a dessert you've never eaten before.

5. Help a stranger

Even if you do not believe in karma, memories of a good deed will warm your soul for a long time. Besides, perhaps a stranger is your destiny?

6. Write a letter

Send a postcard to a friend or write a letter to yourself in the future.

7. Read a new book

Have you been postponing War and Peace for a long time? Or are you still not going to read Zhadan's latest collection? Take action!

8. Try a Rooftop Picnic

What could be more romantic than a rooftop? Now some companies are ready to help organize parties and dates on the most enviable rooftops of the city.

9. Get lost in Paris

This is a classic.

10. Change your image

Admit it, you always dreamed of being in the place of a girl from a movie who leaves the salon with perfect styling and high heels, and passers-by turn around after her.

11. Run on a deserted beach

Yes, it's a stamp. But it’s also an excellent opportunity to feel like “the same girl from the movie.”

12. Throw a coin into the fountain to return

The main thing is to believe.

13. Play a friend

14. Light up at a noisy party

Dancing at the bar, summer cocktails, and good music - everything seems more straightforward and more fun in summer.

15. Try an extreme attraction

Parachute jump, roller coaster, or ordinary "banana" on the sea - take a chance!

16. Meet the sunset

17. Host a Candlelight Dinner

Very simple and very romantic.

18. Fall in love

When, if not in the summer?

19. Launch a Chinese lantern

It is better if the whole company gathers you.

20. Realize your old dream

Dig into your memories, re-read your wish list and act!

21. Do something stupid

Sing songs, laugh, splash water, and draw on the pavement. As Exupery said: " All adults were children at. First, only a few of them remember this."

22. Spend a day at home

Our scenario: a blanket, ice cream, and Bridget Jones's Diary. You can come up with your own. The main thing is to prepare in advance and stock up on goodies for the whole day.

23. Watch a movie

All parts of "Harry Potter" or "Sex and the City." Arrange a retrospective evening and revisit your favorite films.

24. Get rid of junk

Gifts from the former, a broken powder box, old papers, and 100 more items of unnecessary things - it's time to say goodbye to them.

25. Saying “Yes” all day

Like that movie with Jim Carrey, remember how it all ended?

26. Spend a day without any means of communication

No phone, internet, TV, or tablet. Scary? Consider it a test of endurance.

27. Review family records

A great way to spend time with family and remember the funniest childhood moments.

28. Arrange a photoshoot

In every summer movie, there is a moment when a group of friends takes a selfie. Do not miss the opportunity to take a photo for memory ...

29. Print summer photos

30. Look through a telescope

Seeing the Moon and the Milky Way up close is what you need to do in the summer. In August, the stars always fall! It is best to do astronomy outside the city - the night sky is better seen there.

31. Volunteer

You will be surprised, but volunteer work is not free. It’s just that it’s not paid for with money but with impressions. Volunteering at an equestrian club can interact with horses and maybe even ride. And volunteers at the stadium will be able to watch football for free. Find out where helpers are needed in your city!

32. Find a summer job if you are 14 years old.

33. Get out of your comfort zone

Walk up and talk to a stranger, ride a bike to the city's other end try something you have long been afraid of or embarrassed about. This is a must-do item for the summer!

34. All day long, compliment those around you - even strangers.

"You look great!" It doesn't cost anything to cheer someone up.

35. Walk 30,000 steps in a day.

It's not as much as it seems. Just go for a walk wherever your eyes look.

36. Walk barefoot on the grass.

The list of things to do in the summer would be incomplete without this. A trifle, but pleasant and good for health!

37. Measure time with a sundial

Anyone can make a sundial, but one cannot tell the time from it.

38. Read

39. Cooking food on a campfire is a thing that needs to be done in the summer.

While studying, such an opportunity is given infrequently.

40. Bury up to your neck in the sand

Another thing to do in summer is it doesn't feel the same as winter.

41. Make a home shadow theater.

Make up a story, cut out characters from cardboard, and put on a show.

42. Take a break from devices.

Have a "digital detox" with friends - walk, chat, and have fun, but do not touch phones and computers. The world will be a little different, we guarantee!

43. Go to the rope park.

The best is the outdoors. Have fun, enjoy the views from above and test your skill.

44. Arrange a board game championship.

A great occasion to gather offline friends and have a fun evening.

45. Participate in a flash mob.

Such events bring together and give a lot of positive emotions.

46. Go on an expedition.

It is not necessary to climb Everest - you can choose a forest nearby, come up with tasks, distribute roles in a team and go on an adventure.

47. Participate in the quest.

Now they are held in every city. Choose the most exciting one, and organize it yourself if you don’t find anything to your liking! ‍

48. Organize a race of homemade boats made of paper, bark, and anything that floats.

celebrate-chinese-new-year-with-bemorepanda-interesting-facts-and-traditions

On the night of December 31, the inhabitants of various countries of the world celebrated with pomp the most awaited holiday of the year - New Year's Eve. Beautiful memories, good wishes, positive emotions, and, of course, gifts - all made our holiday more beautiful, both small and large. Do you want to repeat them? No problem. Let's celebrate the New Year according to the Chinese calendar. Let's see it with Bemorepanda.

When is the New Year celebrated in China?

How Chinese New Year Works | HowStuffWorks

There is no fixed date when the transition between years is celebrated. It is calculated according to the Chinese calendar, and falls between January 21 and February 21. And according to tradition, the holiday does not last a day, but exactly 15.

How do the Chinese celebrate the New Year?

Chinese New Year Festival Best Pictures Wallpapers | Chinese new year traditions, Chinese new year dragon, Year of the dragon

Asian countries - have always been mysterious and full of secrets. This is what has piqued the curiosity of people around the world about their culture and traditions. How is the New Year celebrated in China? According to legend, there was a monster named Nian (which translates from Chinese - "year"), with a large head and sharp horns. He lived in the depths of the sea, and on the first day of the year, he appeared in the nearby village, destroyed houses and ate people and animals. To defend themselves from the monster, on New Year's Eve people took refuge in the mountains, waiting in fear for the attack.

Everything went on like this, until an old man with white hair decided to face the monster. He glued all the doors of the houses with red paper, lit candles on the windows and dressed in red - thus scaring Nian. Since then, all New Year's Eve residents decorate their homes and yards in red, and Nian has never appeared. In addition to decorations and lanterns, every Chinese cleans his house on the moon, making room for happiness and luck. For the holiday meal, the Chinese prepare meat, fish and Chinese potstickers.

Like the rest, the Chinese are used to celebrating New Year's Eve in the family. Those who live abroad or in big cities, plan their vacation in advance to go home for the holidays, and to spend time with family and relatives. The passing of the years is marked by fireworks and firecrackers. According to the same legends, the sound of firecrackers and fireworks scares away evil spirits and the Nian monster. The Chinese also believe that the New Year should be celebrated with pomp, so that the next 364 days will be full of happiness, luck and money.

What gifts are given to the Chinese New Year?

Chinese New Year's Eve - Wikipedia

What kind of holiday without gifts? The Chinese carefully choose New Year's gifts for their loved ones. At a time when the economy was poorly developed in China, the best gifts were considered clothes, food, but also quality drinks and tobacco. Some continue to give such gifts even today. However, the new generation is used to offering electronic devices as a gift: smartphones, gaming consoles, televisions and other state-of-the-art smart devices.

And as for the New Year's gifts for children - the tradition has remained unchanged. On New Year's Eve, parents give their little red envelopes ... with money. The color red symbolizes wealth and protects against evil spirits. It is also believed that such a gift will bring good luck and happiness for the whole year, to whom it is intended.
