A recent video posted of Facebook by Andres Percu Alegria from Chile has attracted over 80 thousand comments with the majority of the people laughing out loud.

 

In this video, a woman is trying to bake the dough and it fails failed big time. She applies dry flour on both sides of the dough after which she places the dough on the board. So far all good but the trouble begins when she starts flattening the dough using a rolling pin.

 

She ends up tipping her pastry board and the plate of flour flies into her face. At the time of writing, the video has received over 9 million views and has been shared by more than 5 mil users.

The video has been captioned in Spanish. “La nueva forma de hacer pan jajajaja”, which in English translate to (The new way of making bread hahaha)

Ingredients:

340 g peeled bananas

260 g flour

100 g butter

100 g chocolate

100 g of sugar

50 g nuts

10 g baking powder

2 eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla essence

Preparation

  1. Chop the nuts with a mincer until you reach a medium granulation.
  2. Peel a squash, grate it and mix it in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Add butter, nuts, milk, egg, sugar and little pieces of chocolate to the banana paste bowl, then continue using the mixer until the mixture becomes even. Don't forget about the vanilla essence.
  4. Add flour and baking powder by slow sprinkling to avoid lumps.
  5. Pour the composition into a pan and bake for an hour at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius.

 

 

Tips for a flawless result

Whatever the origins of this dessert, you have every reason to try your luck and implement the recipe. Before that, however, you must take into account some tips that will help you not only succeed, but even get results that will surprise those you will serve your new specialty.

 

First, choose a flour with a higher gluten content, so that the dough grows more. Even if the bananas have a high sugar content, you can add a spoonful of honey to the recipe, so that the taste is more intense.

 

If you prefer to replace butter with oil, you will lose the aerated texture, but you will gain more density and a more concentrated taste. Do not use rum or lemon essence, but choose to include cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel or lemon in the dessert, for a real flavor.
