a-dog-was-rescued-in-russia-which-was-waiting-for-its-owner-for-2-months-on-a-frozen-river-that-was-about-to-melt-heartbreaking

In the Russian city of Magadan, a port town located on the Sea of Okhotsk, rescuers had to carry out a whole operation to help a dog, who had been waiting for 2 months for the owner on the ice and did not move. They say that the dog was left alone by the crew of one of the ships.

The trembling dog, shaking it's tail, huddled in a corner on a table in the volunteers room. The dog was nicknamed Chernysh, although the nickname Hachiko would have been much more suitable for him.

Before being here, the dog spent two months on ice waiting for the owner, who threw him right in the middle of Nagaev Bay. 60 days were spent to bring Chernysh back to normal. It was the color that saved his life. The fishermen noticed a hardly distinguishable dark spot on the snow-white surface of the bay and immediately informed the relevenat authorities.

It was not difficult to find the dog - with all his dog devotion, Chernysh sat for days in one place and looked into the distance, kept strangers out, food had to be left for several meters. As volunteers admit, they believed until recently that the owner would show up. But as soon as the ice began to melt, they decided to save the animal by force.

A special operation was launched in the bay.

Catching Chernysh turned out to be a difficult task, I had to connect my wit. First, they started a chase on snowmobiles, after which, when the dog had already begun to become exhausted, on foot, slowly, almost on tiptoe, just not to frighten it away.

The first thing the dog barked at his saviors, did not want to leave the usual habitat. After some days, rescuers explain, Chernysh could be on an ice floe in the open sea, then disaster could not be avoided.

Pavel Klochkov, head of the Magadan branch of the Far Eastern Federal District Transport and Emergency Situations in Russia:

“Most likely, this is a dog from some kind of sea vessel. This is our first time in our life. It took us half a day to chase her, but for the sake of saving the animal - we did it. ”

The dog was fed, and when he overslept for several hours, he was handed over to the veterinarians for examination.

Anastasia Pavlova, head of the regional public organization: “They overexposed for some time, because the dog was on ice for a long time, it was necessary to look, you never know, maybe got sick. And now we are convinced that everything is fine. Today the dog is moving to a new place of residence. "

Chernysha decided to pick up one of the fishermen - those who raised the alarm and, together with the volunteers, visited the shore daily to check if everything was okay with him. Now he can't wait to see the dog home.

In December last year, it was reported that in the Krasnoyarsk Territory near the village of Kuskun, a white dog for three months was waiting on the side of the road for its owner. The dog was given the nickname Kuskunsky Hachiko and put a sign “Attention! The dog is waiting for the owner. "
