
Google Chrome's Incognito mode was created to provide users with a 100% private mode of operation, without collecting information about the sites they enter.
According to the latest information, this was not true, and the lawyers sued the company for illegal collection of information during these browsing sessions.
Approximately 5 billion euros are claimed as compensation to Google, and anyone who has accessed Chrome Incognito since June 1, 2016 has the right to claim compensation of approximately 5,000 euros.
The lawsuit was filed by Boies Chiller Flexner in the Northern District of Calofirnia, USA.
Google will defend itself strongly in court, announces a company spokesman:
"Chrome's Incognito mode gives you the ability to browse the web without saving your activity to your browser or device.
