Hugging has benefits for our health. And with the pandemic and the quarantine, respectively, the whole globe was deprived of this beautiful gesture - the embrace.

If the pandemic could not allow you to receive the necessary attention from loved ones, you are not alone. A new study shows that about 60% of people in the US reported feeling lonely in the first month of quarantine. Of the respondents, only one-fifth lived alone.

Tiffany Field, from the University of Miami, Florida and her colleagues, interviewed 260 adults and found that those who reported inattention, in most cases, suffer from anxiety, depression, fatigue, sleep problems, as well as post-traumatic stress.

Deprivation of human contact was more common in people living alone, but it also affected those living with family or friends. "Only 33% of people said they had long contact with their partner, and 37% said they had no contact at all," Field said.

Another study of more than 1,000 adults in the United States found that those who frequently hugged, kissed, or met friends and family during the restrictions had 26%. they were less likely to report symptoms of depression, and 28% said they were not alone during the restrictions, whether they were married or living together. Ordinary video chats did not have the same benefits.

But at the end of the quarantine, people saw each other again and gave each other their first hug, some more funny, others excited to tears. Bemorepanda has collected 10 hugs that are worth seeing.

July 4, 1776, is known in universal history as the day of the American Declaration of Independence from the British Empire, an event that led to the birth of the United States as a sovereign entity. Today, July 4, is the day when American values are celebrated.

In 1776, the 13 American colonies declared their independence from the British Empire, an event that led to the birth of the United States as a sovereign entity.

But July 4 is not exactly the day the Continental Congress - made up of colony delegates - decided to declare independence two days earlier, on July 2, 1776.

July 4th funnies memes ever

Nor is it the date the American Revolution broke out, which had begun a year earlier, in April 1775.

And not even the date on which Thomas Jefferson - considered one of the "founding fathers" of the United States, who became the third president of the state (1801-1809) - wrote the first draft of the Declaration of Independence happened in June 1776. The Declaration of Independence was signed on August 2, 1776, and sent to the British in November.

On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress approved the final form of the Declaration of Independence, which was designed for several days.

Thus, this date became official, which was included in the Declaration of Independence, and the copy signed in August 1776, handwritten, can now be seen in the National Archives in Washington.

Bemorepanda collected some funny memes to celebrate Independence Day.

1. Aliens invasion

2. We lost day

3. You’ll be back

In the first 15-20 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Americans did not celebrate this date, and until the 1790s, it had become a controversial act. On the one hand, the Republican Democrats admired the Declaration of Independence, and Jefferson, on the other, the Federalists considered the act too French and too anti-British.

In 1817, John Adams - the second president of the United States (1797-1801) - complained that America was not very interested in its past.

After the end of the American-British War, which broke out in 1812, the Federalist Party fell apart and all political formations from 1820 to 1830 considered themselves heirs of Jefferson and the Democratic Republicans. Printed copies of the Declaration of Independence, circulating on July 4, began circulating again. The deaths of Thomas Jefferson and John Adams on July 4, 1826, helped to promote the idea that July 4 should be celebrated as an important date in American history.

The American Congress declared July 4 a national holiday in 1870, almost a century after the American Revolution. At the same time, it was declared a national holiday and Christmas, among other things.

Today, July 4 is marked by the display of the American flag, political speeches, ceremonies, parades, parties, family reunions, picnics, baseball games, fireworks and other events.

On this occasion, on the tables of the Americans are most often found "hot dogs" and burgers, baked corn, lemonade, beer, melon and apple pie and ice cream.

The Declaration of Independence of the United States of America, by which 13 British colonies declared their independence from the United Kingdom, was drafted by Thomas Jefferson, who would become the third President of the United States, and ratified by Congress on July 4, 1776.

At least one of the phrases in the Declaration of Independence has made history: . ”

But as history moves hard, almost 100 years have passed since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence and the abolition of slavery in the United States (through an amendment to the Constitution after the end of the Civil War, 1861-1864). The gypsy-slaves from the Romanian Lands had been freed in 1855 (both the gypsies that were owned by a master and those "owned by no one", owned by the state).

5. Park rules

After the end of World War II, the UN General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948, which also includes ideas contained in the 1776 Declaration of Independence.

Thus, in Article 1, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights" and in Article 3 it reads: the security of his person ”. As can be seen, the difference between the Declaration of Independence and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights makes it a concept of "happiness", which is no longer mentioned in the 1948 document, being replaced by that of "personal security".

Coincidentally, three of the first American presidents (of the 45, including Donald Trump, as many as America had) died on July 4: John Adams, the second president, after George Washington, died on July 4, 1826. Thomas Jefferson, the third American president, also died on the same day in 1826.

The fifth president of the United States, James Monroe, also died on July 4, 1831.

But also on July 4, the birth of the thirtieth American president, Calvin Coolidge, in 1872.

If we believe the specialized sites, around 200 Hollywood film productions are related to Independence Day. From these, we have selected some of the most relevant.

And we will not start with the well-known SF production, "Independence Day", but with today's somewhat more neglected "Born on July 4th", the 1989 production directed by Oliver Stone, starring Tom Cruise. It is the story of a Vietnam veteran, Ron Kovic, who collaborated with Stone on the screenplay, and the transformation of the young idealist who wanted to fight the Vietman communists into an anti-war activist. The film won Oscars for directing and editing, but "Driving Miss Daisy" was preferred to "Best Picture" and Daniel Day-Lewis to "Best Actor". However, some say that in this film we are dealing with the best performance of Tom Cruise.

"The Independence Day" is a classic blockbuster, impeccably made for a year - 1996 - in which computers were not yet in power in the world of special effects. Director Roland Emmerich and actors Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman have struggled hard with the advanced technology of the alien invaders equipped with equipment, but lacking the stubbornness of the earthlings and a pilot from the same Vietnam War to give up drinking and sacrifice for the good of the Earth. We can't be too excited about Emmerich's 2016 "Independence Day: Resurgence," starring Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, and Maika Monroe, far too addicted to technology and too lacking in the vigor of the previous film.

The Great White Shark of Jaws (1975, Steven Spielberg, starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss) attacks on the weekend of July 4, and the serial killer Zodiac, from the film of the same name (2007, directed by David Fincher) attacks for the first time on the same date. A certain table, in which he participates in "Hannibal" (2001, Ridley Scott) Hannibal Lecter, Clarice Starling and Paul Krendler (Anthony Hopkins, Julianne Moore, respectively Ray Liotta) also takes place on July 4.

July 4th was also the release date for quite a few action movies, such as Spider-Man (2004), Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), Man in Black (1997), Despicable Me 2 (2013), Transformers (2007) or War of the Worlds (2005).

The patriotic side of July 4th appears in one form or another in Mel Gibson's "The Patriot" in the TV series "John Adams" with Paul Giamatti in "The Crossing" (2000, Robert Harmon with Jeff Daniels), about the famous Delaware River crossing by George Washington or in the musical "1776" (1972, directed by Peter Hunt, with William Daniels, Howard Da Silva and Ken Howard).
