Ellen DeGeneres has been extremely harshly criticized by fans for her self-isolation statements.  Ellen DeGeneres continues her famous talk show at home after a three-week break from the coronavirus pandemic.

 The 62-year-old presenter started her show Monday, showing her gratitude and admiration for the frontline medical staff who are currently fighting for coronavirus.

 "While we are all stuck in the house, I want to help you think about everything that is happening in this world.  I always wanted this show to be fun. If you're not feeling good, I'm there to support you and make you move on, ”Ellen said at the start of the show.

 "Portia and I have been in quarantine for three weeks and it's really nice because we spent time together, we talked and we had the opportunity to get to know each other better, didn't we?  Did you know she is of Australian origin? ", Ellen told his wife, Portia, who was behind the camera and helped with the filming. 

Later, Ellen compared this period of isolation we all go through with prison, being a statement for  which the fans criticized her virulently. "It's like being in prison. Especially since I wore the same clothes for 10 days and everyone here is gay, "said Ellen DeGeneres. 

Even though she said it was a joke, her fans were upset by this statement, and their reactions were not  were late to appear on Twitter.
